Dear Grandparents (Grandpa Bob and Grandma Smith),
I know I have been away from home and you folks for a long time. I don't know if you will even see this to be honest. I wanted to Thank you though, for your ongoing support and wisdom that you impart and share with me over the years. I love you both so much and although there are many avenues for support and love in my life this one is special because it is between us and now my new family.
Growing up, I was never easy after elementary school-everything was always "exciting" as Grandpa and my Dad best put it. But regardless of how "exciting" it was-I was always fortunate enough to have you in my life. although I may never know the true and real reason to which you chose to live in Dunnville over the last few years, it wasn't something I really spent a lot of time thinking about. Now looking at how much I miss my family and looking at becoming a homeowner in the near future. I think I get it and I would like to follow suit (if possible).
I feel like over the years I had taken advantage of the fact that you live so close to my house. I hope in the near future I take advantage of this in another way, in which if I am at home, maybe we are at, YOUR home. I don't know if its just the time of the year or the change in my life' role but-I really look forward to seeing you both soon and I am so glad that my son will have great grandparents like yourselves.
I am truly thankful to have you in my life and for as long as I have been born I have known you. I am blessed.
Lots of love to you both.
Carm, your grandson.
